"These folks only cater to the perfect of our society. “State Farm will not write a home that was built before 2003 unless you have permits and certificates of completion to show that the HVAC, Electric, and Plumbing have all been brought up to that Florida Building Code. In addition to that, State Farm has updated it guidelines to state that even if that is the case, they will not write a home unless it has a metal or tile roof that was put on since 2021.” So, if you aren’t in a brand new home or perfectly renovated home, they don’t want your business is my take."

"The agent is the key. Maria Beltran at State Farm is outstanding! I have been in business for 40 years and have extensive training in many facets of business and human development. Maria stands out and goes the extra mile to "Get it Done". She has handled the insurance on our 7 rental properties on an ongoing basis. You can count on her. "We were worried about getting supplemental health insurance for my husband while he is a nursing student at Florida Gateway College. We reached out to John Kasak State Farm Insurance here in Lake City and the process couldn't have been easier. Mrs. Joyner was our agent and she was so helpful and had the best customer service we encountered in our search for policies. We were even more impressed with the price of the coverage. "Review Update: I previously reported about the great service at this agency but I found that the great service was only until they got your business. Afterwards…. They were like most others… Not concerned about their customers. They would not answer calls and not respond to emails unless you sent a message saying how horrible their service was. ——————————————————————- I’ve done business with a lot of agencies in the past and this is by far one of the best agencies. Gwen & Stephanie both provided my family and I with First Class Service. I will gladly refer my friends and family to this agency as I know I can trust that they will be treated with professionalism and care. I'm glad to be a part of the John Kasak agency... but it's most definitely because of those two ladies!"

"When I changed over to John Kasak's office of State Farm. I had a pleasant experience, besides the fact that it is ridiculous to pay for any insurance, especially auto insurance. The problem I had with this office was during Hurricane Ian. Apparently, they had an issue internally during this time that caused me to miss a payment. I still don't understand how this happened. However, I had to pay double payments because of their snafu. Which, they still never explained to me properly? The next time this issue arises, I will try another office or company entirely."

"Thank you for taking time to leave a review and I am sorry about the billing change that took place. When there is a hurricane, the Governor has the authority to suspend billing for all insurance companies in an area effected by the storm. Because our area was included in the declared disaster area, State Farm had to suspend billing to our customers. The State does this, to allow people to focus on clean-up and repairs to their property and not have their insurance cancelled. I agree it is aggravating, as the billing stops with no notice and once the State allows us to bill again, we have to collect the premium still due. State Farm spreads the back payment out over three months verse taking it all at once in most cases. The customer still has the option to pay the premium even when the State suspend billing if they choose. They also can pay the full amount due instead of over three months it that works better for them. If I were the State, I would still allow billing after the Hurricane but just suspend cancellations so those effected by the storm, that were unable or prevented from making their payment, would not lose their insurance. It would create a lot less headaches for all involved. Again, I am sorry this happened to you and I hope this provides a better explanation as to why the State does this and why we have to stop billing. "We’ve always been happy with our service from the ladies in the office. We have multiple vehicles covered at all times and have had three totaled vehicles over the years (none were our fault) and they have always fought for us to get proper compensation. Christina was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when I called the other day to add a new policy. I had my new policy card emailed less than 5 mins after hanging up the phone. And their rates are very competitive with other companies."
